So, I might as well get this blog started.
I had big plans to spill out all of the ideas I've been having for the last month and a bit, but it's just so stinking hot that I can't bring myself to sit at my computer for long enough to bang anything out.
This will have to do for now.
So yesterday I spent the day at Orange Lounge.

It was a hell of a lot of fun, and we managed to record a couple tracks live off the floor, which felt great because it had been a really long time since I've felt anywhere near performance-ready, and after that session... I think I'm ready.
The two songs are really bare bones tracks, no FX, not much mix, no bells or whistles.
The first track is 'Broadripple is Burning' by Margot & the Nuclear So & So's
and the second is 'The Ballad of Love & Hate' by The Avett Brothers.
